It’s a short drive for us, and we had the time. Headed out to Boulder City, Nevada to take a quick look around. First stop, we ran across the Community Gardens, interesting!
It was then a quick stop at the nearby Lake Mead Visitor Center. You can see the lake from the parking lot.
Then some more driving around, exploring, and we found Veterans Park. This is a great park, lots of green space and activities going on. Sammy (our dog) had a great time with the green grass, a rare site for him in Las Vegas.
